rosemary

peppermint

a 2011 study found that Peppermint oil offered 100% protection against mosquito bites for up to 150 mins when applied topically; is also used to soothe inflammation, irritation and itchiness on skin and scalp

camphor

is often used in sprays, ointments, and creams for relieving pain; can reduce inflammation, relax muscles, and fights fungal infections

French green clay

can draw out impurities and toxins from the skin (beneficial for oily or acne-prone skin); has anti-inflammatory properties that can help calm redness and irritation

hemp butter

ideal for dry, rough, or dehydrated skin; rich in omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which promote skin health and can help soothe irritation and inflammation

free from SLS/SLES, PEG, soy, phthalate, paraben, and sulfates- cruelty free (not tested on animals - just husbands)

Safety considerations

general

it is highly recommended to consult your doctor before using essential oils while pregnant or for children under 10 years old

rosemary

in addition to above, recommend avoiding use with small children, the elderly, those with epilepsy, pregnant and/or nursing women

peppermint

consult your doctor before use, especially if you have a medical condition, or are taking medication; avoid use on hypersensitive or damaged skin, and on children less than 2 years of age

camphor

overdosing (ingesting) can cause convulsions and vomiting; should be avoided for those who are pregnant or have epilepsy or asthma
