What to Expect

Each custom order comes with an ingredient card (including 'praise for our parts' details) based on your choices, just like our retail soaps.

Classic custom orders start with 9 oz of soap base. However, the minimum size for French Milled custom orders is a 3 pound loaf (prices shown below).

Typical time from order to shipment is 7-10 days.

Customizations

  • Bar Size

    x-small - makes 12 molds
    small - makes 6 molds
    medium - makes 4 molds
    large - makes 3 molds
    x-large - makes 2 round molds or 3 loofa molds
    French Milled - makes ten 4.5oz bars plus a little extra
    or choose a variety - see our size chart for mold examples and sizes

  • Essential Oils

    - Over 50 essential oils to choose from!
    - Our Classic retail batches contain ~60 drops of EO per 9 ounces of base (1% - 1.4% total dilution)
    - Our French Milled retail batches contain ~375 drops of EO per 3 pound loaf (1% - 1.4% total dilution)
    - The most balanced scents contain at least one top, middle, and base note
    *You are responsible for understanding if your chosen essential oils are safe for you to use

  • Additives

    - Choose from butters, clays, exfoliants, activated charcoal, loofah inserts, and decorative elements
    - Butters help condition the skin and contribute to the firmness of the bar
    - Clays are good for absorbing dirt and oil in the skin, improve the feel of the soap, and can help the scent last longer
    - Did you know natural loofah is actually a dried plant?!

  • Packaging

    - Your choice of naked or packaged soaps
    - x-small soaps are not packaged, but do still include an ingredient card
    - Cardboard gift boxes are also available and can be packaged with any of our Soap Accessories

  • Glycerin & Goat Milk Soap Base

    coconut oil, palm oil, safflower oil, glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), goat milk (liquid), purified water, sorbitol (moisturizer), sodium hydroxide
    - free from SLS/SLES, PEG, soy, phthalate, paraben, and sulfates
    - cruelty free (not tested on animals - just husbands)

  • French Milled Soap Base

    water, coconut oil, palm oil*, olive oil, rice bran oil, sodium hydroxide, palm kernel flakes, castor bean oil, goat milk powder
    *comes from a supplier that's part of the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil
    - free from SLS/SLES, PEG, soy, phthalate, paraben, and sulfates
    - cruelty free (not tested on animals - just husbands)
